Destiny 2 Power Boosting: When to Start a Story

Introduction

Destiny 2 is a multiplayer first-person shooter, free-to-play online video game. Bungie developed it and was originally released as a pay-to-play game for Xbox, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows in 2017.

In October 2019, it became free to play under the new light title. Its setting is a mythic science fiction world and features a multi-player environment with role-playing games. Activities are divided among player versus environment(PVE) and player versus player(PVP).

PVE presents 3 player strikes and dungeons and 6 player raids, while PVP features objective-based modes and traditional deathmatch modes. Players take up the role of guardian protecting earth’s last safe city from aliens and looming darkness through waving a power called light.

The game presents extension packs that add to the story. Year one had two small expansions, namely, Curse of Osiris and Warmind. Year two had a large expansion, Forsakenand later on Shadowkeep. A new light came along in year 4, and year 5 brought beyond light which introduced players to the power of darkness in 2020.

Expansions expected to come in the coming years include the witch queen and light fall, then the final shape consecutively. What is boosting in destiny 2? Well, let’s get to start the story and find out, shall we?

How to Get Raid-ready Fast

Owing to the fact that this game is all about loot, the leveling system in destiny 2 is confusing, especially with more expansions being released; Bungie has gotten caught up in the whole process of balancing the game for new players while keeping the old players intrigued with rewards. The beyond light expansion has definitely been a game-changer.

Leveling can be quite a task, especially for beginners. In previous loops especially, you had the character level and power level. However, in a new light, the character levels that had been gained through experience were removed, and now only the base level of players is raised to keep up with the community. Since the beyond the light update, every player starts at power level 1050 with different level caps;

  • Soft cap: 1200

At this level, basically, the player plays, avoiding any activities that reward powerful gear.

The first thing for a player is to complete all the missions while picking up any gear above your level.

The next fastest way to level up is playing crucibles and completing public events.

Another important leveling tip is not to infuse anything but instead keep equipping your highest level gear. This definitely raises your power level.

Another tip is dismantling your old stuff. Dismantling of rare and legendary drops yields to gunsmith materials which when taken to the tower will increase your reputation with him.

Making alternate characters is another important tip. This helps to leapfrog your characters by sharing equipment between them.

  • Hard cap: 1250

Completing of strikes

Entering the crucible

Completing bounties

Gumble on gumbit

Join a clan

Do some quests

  • Pinnacle cap: 1260

Crash the crucible

Run the raid to get the gear

Master the nightfall.

Unlock artifacts.

Conclusion

The beauty of this game lies in moving from one level to the other without boosting, as it gives the player the experience and chance to learn. Destiny 2 surrounds the first game with so much confidence and experience and is with no doubt one of the best shooters in ps4.

For boosting, the beyond light character boost is bought using silver at the character select screen, and players without enough silver are directed to the marketplace to purchase more.
